- Scenarios: Conservative / Base / Optimistic presets adjust only effect sizes (minutes saved per report, reduction rates). Practice baseline inputs — volume, rates, hourly costs — are fully user-controlled and do not change with scenario selection.
- Realization rate: The fraction of recovered radiologist time that converts to actual financial value. 0% means the benefit is quality and burnout reduction only (still real). 25–50% reflects partial monetization (locum avoidance, incremental reads). 100% applies only in highly constrained or fee-for-service environments. Default is 30%.
- Module 1 — Time savings: Radiologist time valued at user-entered fully-loaded hourly rate, adjusted by realization rate. Default of 3 min/report is a placeholder; no prospective trial data.
- Module 2 — Addenda: Addendum rates vary significantly by practice and reporting system; defaults are placeholders. An overlap adjustment (default 30%) prevents double-counting savings also captured in Module 3.
- Module 3 — Guideline completeness: Applies to features currently supported by GigHz Precision AI: LI-RADS, Bosniak, Fleischner, Lung-RADS, adrenal washout, and lymph node size criteria. Reduction percentage is user-controlled (scenario default 35%); no internal validation data cited. Quality delta is a frequency metric, not a clinical outcome measure.
- Module 4 — Callbacks: Staff and radiologist time are costed separately at their respective hourly rates. Call volume and minutes are practice-specific; user-entered values govern.
- Break-even thresholds: Each threshold is solved independently — the minimum effect size for that module alone to cover the full subscription cost. Combinations achieve break-even faster.
- Limitations: All inputs are self-reported. No controlled trial data. Productivity gains assume no compensatory slowdown. Results will vary by practice type, case mix, and workflow integration.
All inputs are editable. Results update in real time. This model follows ISPOR good-practice guidance for budget impact analyses. It is not a randomized trial and should not be interpreted as clinical evidence.
