Physicians make seven-figure decisions without the data hospitals and payers have had for decades. GigHz exists to close that gap.
Clinical AI. Physician finance. Capital intelligence. Three product surfaces, one thesis: the people doing the work — clinicians and physician owners — should have the same access to structured data and decision support that the institutions around them already do.
GigHz is led by Pouyan Golshani, MD — a practicing interventional radiologist with 20+ years at the intersection of clinical practice, technology, and financial operations. The tools, advisory, and capital work all exist for the same reason: nobody else was building them correctly.
The thesis
Three patterns kept showing up — in the reading room, in physician partner meetings, in the LP conversations of physicians trying to invest. Same shape, different surface:
At the bedside
Physicians know what they should do; the cognitive load of synthesizing it under time pressure is what fails. Pogosh, Precision AI, the imaging stack, and the prior-auth tools all attack different versions of that same gap.
In the practice
Health systems have actuaries and rate data; physicians evaluating an ASC, OBL, or imaging center have gut feel. CenterIQ, Referral Pulse, and the advisory layer give physicians the same lens institutions use.
In personal finance
Physicians make the largest financial decisions of their lives — student debt strategy, entity structure, real estate allocation — using tools that weren't built for physician income. The Finance Hub, Repit, GigHz Capital, and the CPA referrals layer change that.
What GigHz actually does — by surface
Four product surfaces, all running off the same physician-built thesis:
Tools that work at the point of care
Pogosh CDS, GigHz Precision AI, Nakod prior auth, Imaging Protocol Library, ACR Appropriateness, Radiation Dose, IR Coding, CasePrep, IRPrep, PE Triage, Anticoagulation Guidelines.
See all tools →The numbers physicians need to negotiate, build, and grow
CenterIQ rate intelligence, Referral Pulse leakage tracking, ASC/OBL feasibility advisory, payer negotiation prep with named-hospital benchmarks.
CenterIQ →Loan, tax, and entity decisions calibrated to how physicians get paid
Physician Finance Hub (PSLF, refi, OBBBA, 61 strategies), CPA referrals network, the educational layer for residents and attendings.
Finance Hub →DIY housing data and white-glove diligence for physician investors
Repit (ZIP-level housing intelligence), GigHz Capital (curated deals + diligence memos), oil & gas / MedTech case-by-case engagements, research memos.
GigHz Capital →How we build
Four principles every GigHz product runs on:
Structured, not generative
Clinical tools use traceable rule engines. Every recommendation maps to a specific guideline and rationale. Clinicians can verify the logic — there's nothing to trust on faith.
Built for time pressure
A tool that takes 30 seconds to load doesn't exist in a busy ED. APIs respond at the edge. Browser-only tools store everything locally. Speed is a clinical safety feature.
Privacy by architecture
We don't collect PHI because the tools are designed not to need it. Clinical parameters, not patient identifiers. Locally-stored procedure data. PHI minimization is the default, not the upsell.
Physician-led development
Every product runs through a practicing physician's hands. The advisory work is run by the same physician. The investment work is done with physician capital. Skin in the game on every surface.
About the founder
Pouyan Golshani, MD
Founder · Physician · Builder
I'm a practicing interventional radiologist who's spent 16+ years making decisions where precision actually matters — in medicine, technology, and capital.
My work sits at the intersection of clinical reality, deep tech, and markets. I help founders, physicians, and investors cut through noise, understand what actually works, and avoid expensive mistakes — whether that's stress-testing a med-tech product against real workflows, helping license IP that's been years in the making, or building systems (financial, professional, or personal) that hold up over time.
I don't believe in hype or abstraction. I believe in clarity, ownership, and disciplined execution. The same mindset that guides me in the angio suite applies everywhere else: understand the system, respect risk, and act deliberately.
GigHz exists for people who want cleaner decisions — in business, investing, and life — without fluff, shortcuts, or borrowed confidence.
