    Protocols, in plain English.

131 imaging protocols with the physics specs surfaced and ACR appropriateness alongside. Built for radiology trainees and attendings who want a single page they can read in 60 seconds. Free for individuals.

For educational reference. Protocols vary by institution and scanner — these are synthesized from public guidelines and academic protocol libraries (UTSW, OHSU, TRA, ACR). Always defer to your department's protocol when in doubt.

    How to use this tool

Ask mode Type a clinical question or scenario in plain language — for example, "CT pulmonary angiogram for suspected PE" or "MRI for perianal fistula". We match it to the closest protocol in the library and return the plain-English narrative, contrast/dose details, common indications, and the matching ACR appropriateness criteria.
Browse mode Pick a modality (CT, MRI, US, NM, PET-CT, MAM, DXA, IR, XR), then a specific protocol from that modality's library. Each protocol returns the same plain-English summary plus physics specs and ACR cross-references. 130 protocols in the library today.
